The concept was quite a simple one: a travel guide that doesn’t tell you the name or location of the destination.

Inspired by my own travels and by The Beach by Alex Garland, the piece became an exploration of why we travel, what we seek, and what we find when we get there.

We couldn’t have found better photographs to illustrate the article than those by Ashley and Jered Gruber.

The destination is a real place and they are real photos of it. You’ll just have to try and work it out for yourself.
